The experience was an opportunity for her to talk about her work as a backpack journalist and share the lessons she has learned as a foreign correspondent. The U.S. Institute of Peace invited Rebecca to talk about her experience reporting on the ground in Kashmir for a panel discussion titled Violence in Kashmir.
